In the years during and between vocal study and performing I trained as a secondary school music teacher (PGCE).  For four years I combined teaching and singing, going part-time after 2 years so as to devote more time to singing before leaving teaching altogether in July 2007.

I have much experience in classroom and workshop settings and have organised and led vocal workshops and other musical activities for students of 8-18 years.  I have a wide knowledge of the National Curriculum for music and have many resources and ideas (and am CRB checked).
